There’s a new non-dairy yogurt on the market and I think you’re going to like it! Coconut Dream who also makes a slew of other yummy products just launched their new yogurt cups. They come in the typical flavors of: plain, vanilla, strawberry, raspberry, and blueberry. I am quite fond of the vanilla in particular! It’s got a great taste and lovely consistency. I layered some up with banana, frozen blueberries, my favorite homemade granola recipe which I’ve included for you below 🙂 Look for COCONUT DREAM Non-Dairy Yogurt in grocers’ refrigerated sections nationwide. Enjoy!
Homemade Skillet Granola
2 cups old fashion oats
1/2 cup raw almonds, roughly chopped
1/4 cup raw pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup dried unsweetened shredded coconut
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
2-3 Tbsp. maple syrup
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 Tbsp. coconut oil
1/2 tsp. sea salt
Heat a large frying pan on medium heat and add all the ingredients. Mix and sauté, moving the granola frequently until it is perfect golden brown. Let cool and enjoy!
Traditional oven directions:
Preheat your oven to 300 degrees. Mix all of the ingredients together in a large bowl using your hands or a wooden spoon. Toss until the mixture is coated in the oil.
Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes or until the granola is toasted. Cool fully and store in an airtight container.
I love Coconut with granola. I think is one of the best combination.
I love Coconut and of course this dairy yogurt. I will try yhis combination.
