Thanksgiving can be a challenge when you have a restricted diet, but why let it be? Celebrate everything you are thankful for and bring your favorite dishes to the table. You’ll be surprised how many, “If all vegan food tasted this good, I could do it” and “This is actually not that bad” comments you’ll receive. As tempting as it is to make a political statement at the Thanksgiving table, my advice is, try not to. It’s a holiday about being thankful for everything in your life. Respect their choices and save the vegan conversations for a later time. Enjoy yourself! Trust me, people will ask all about your fab figure, clear skin, and inner glow… wait for that to tell them about your diet choices. And most of all, win them over with these super yummy recipes. Good food is good food whether it has animal products or not, so make your statement in their tummies 🙂
