Happy Sunday everyone! I just wanted to share some updates from the garden. Things are starting to sprout and that's got me very excited! Here are some sprouts coming up in the garden outside:
Check out what's happening inside where I'm starting tomatoes and pumpkins.
And the most exciting of all is the eggplant plant that my sister in-law gave me has bloomed!! Check out how pretty it is:
Most of all, I can't wait to make fabulous meals from all these plants. It's going to be so fun! Make sure to stay tuned and I'll keep you posted how it's all going : )

ooooh I can’t wait. I have such a “black thumb” – I live vicariously through your green one.
Yay! I’m glad your eggplant is coming along nicely. I was afraid it would die because I read somewhere (after I gave it to you) that eggplants don’t do very well when transplanted after a certain point. *phew!* mine have been having trouble fruiting, so they require a little help. I’ve been watering mine like crazy, fertilizing every two to three weeks and brushing the flowers (the anthers and stigma) with a paintbrush to pollinate them. So far, out of five flowers, I have one fertilized. I hope yours is more prolific!
