I am so pleased to be part of another amazing baby shower! This one was for my good friend Ashley. What made this one so intimidating is that she is one of the best professional event planners I've ever met! Her company is Coco Rose Events if you ever need anything : )
The theme was a "bun in the oven" so it only made sense to make a lot of baked goods and of course cinnamon buns! The color theme was red and turquoise. It was a fabulous afternoon! Here is a shot of Ashley with all the girls who helped with the shower. And yup that's me on the far right and no I'm not that short, I'm on my knees : )
To stick with the theme, the favors were spatulas in our theme colors tied with ribbons accompanied by coordinating recipe cards for the cookies I made.
Colleen, Ashley's business partner came up with this fabulous idea that I'm totally stealing! So all the signs would match, she glued the napkins to a hard piece of paper and mounted a letter on top. So smart!
Here is the food table with the dessert "bakery" in the background:
Cute right?
So here is the menu with pictures:
Crudite with my "ranch" dressing. I served this with celery, carrots, tomatoes, boiled potatoes, mushrooms, cucumber and orange peppers.
Deviled Eggs:
Quinoa Salad with Arugula and Apples:
Chocolate Covered Strawberries:
Cinnamon Bun Cupcakes:
Sugar Cookies with Coconut Frosting:
Ashley's Mom's top secret chocolate chip cookies:
And instead of doing a game or craft, Autumn got this adorable apron and little note cards to write a little note to Ashley or the baby. It was super cute!
I hope you enjoyed!
